I seem to run permanently late. Nothing falls to the tight schedule of appropriateness. Upsets me a bit but as long as it gets done I guess it is not the end of the world. Dawn shoots mostly fall into this category but today I paid for my tardiness.
I can’t be too angry with myself, I mean I am normally up before 4.00am to be somewhere but even at that hour everytime I get to the location I think I should have been there 10 minutes ago.
On the track in I could see the cloud and colour in the sky. Pretty perfect only thing was I had about a kilometre to run down that track to get to the spot. The track meanders near the cliff edge giving me glimpses of the ocean between lumps of scrub. It was amazing. Coloured sky, clean swell and a whipping offshore. It was close to the best I have ever seen (Warrahwillah photo wise).
I ran as hard as I could but the last half km in the soft sand was killer. I got about ten minutes of the gold. A few sets of goodness but really to have had 10, 20 minutes more would probably put me in the best situation photographically EVER!
Bummed!
Gallery wise we are open all weekend. I won’t be here tomorrow, there is a wedding to shoot. Taryn will be and she is way nicer than me.
Heads up, we have a special on both framed cluster prints and small wall prints. Come check them out.
And finally there is a Warrahwillah movie (loose term really) going live next week. It’s my first attempt so have low expectation! I’ll let you know!
Out.
