The danger in just focusing on the main event is that it is very easy to miss the surroundings.
As it stands the coast is alive right now and there is a gamble in place to go to a spot that makes fickle seem like a sure bet.
The saving grace in this instant is that the immediate surrounds are fabulous. I mean really quite idyllic. Coastal fringe, water ways that spills to the ocean, heavily forested foreshore and buried deep in a national park. (this place alone is a strong argument for more national parks)
Can’t help but think the next day will see the camera point away from any potential waves and I’m glad about it. I have spent a bit of time searching through images taken over the last two years and the catalogue that has not seen any usage is extensive. As the gallery is now up and running it is time to start bringing these images to light.
The gallery will still be “Warrahwillah, twisting water” but the scope will move to more than just the waves that we all love.
Here are a few images from a recent trip. Hope you like them.
Ps. As I type the wind is starting to kick outside and thick storm clouds are marching across the sky. Love it!
